They were the sun and the moon
So different  yet so unique
One was a fire ball of fury
Yet the fire melted into streaks of vermillion
whenever he saw the misty cold moon
One was a tiny ball of cottony mist
Yet the mist rose up in hues of blushing fuchsia
Whenever she saw the fiery hot sun
Fate always drew them apart
Yet they always stole a glance at each other
As the sun bid adieu to the moon
And the world around called them dusk
And the world gushed at their beauty
They were never together
Yet they loved each other
And, then one day the sun asked the moon
for a hug, for a moment to stay together
And, the world called them eclipse
And, the world hushed and stayed away
For it was only the moment owned by
the fiery sun and the misty moon
